HELLO SUNSHINE

Company Branding

We were asked to re-imagine and dimensionalize the logo identity for Reese Witherspoon’s production company, Hello Sunshine, so that it could be used for TV and Theatrical. We started with their initial flat black 2D logo and designed over 50 variations that introduced multiple approaches to texture and light that could represent the company’s energy. Different versions incorporated aspects of the Hello Sunshine office environment using fabric, paper an d even building materials.  Other approaches kept the logo within the confines of a glossy multi-colored stage environment with playful cotton ball clouds suspended by string.   We animated the camera pulling through the Hello Sunshine logo to finally be revealed within a Bora Bora themed palette.. As the Hello Sunshine signature sun element emerges, it throws lens artifacts and prisms across the screen. Added texture was added using DI pass. The project was created using Autodesk's 3D Studio Max and Chaos’ Corona Renderer.
