Ebay and Sony asked us to design Ebay for daytime television. It had to feel very different to any show by being recognizable, simple, elegant and fun! We re-created a 3D version of the classic Ebay logo while giving each letter a bright glassy lollipop feel. The transparency was also a metaphor for now now being able to interact between the two worlds of internet and television. Ebay mostly sells tangible things, so the logo was placed into people’s hands to suggest that it could could represent any object you wanted.
