Animated Sequence

For this 3 minute dream sequence that is embedded into a serious drama, we adopted a highly animated style as its told by a girl smoking a joint.
Rather than being constrained by one style, we used a combination of fun yet simply animated characters, backgrounds, photographs, toy soldiers, tanks and other graphic elements within an 2.5D multi-plane environment.  Additionally, heat haze, lens flares, explosions, fire, light rays etc... help glue everything together into a vibrant and entertaining melting pot that received a very enthusiastic mention when the movie was reviewed by Variety.
